Transport planning studies and assessments
Transport planning studies and assessments are undertaken for development approvals and in the planning stage of projects, to investigate transport needs and options for the design of transport facilities. The evaluation of options includes multi-criteria based assessments of the transport, social, economic and environmental consequences of options.
We provide transport planning services to State Government transport infrastructure agencies, specifically: strategic transport planning studies, traffic modelling studies and project development approval traffic impact reports. These services are provided for roads, railways, other public transport systems, ports and airport developments.
